Hermaphrodite Some people call me a freak, but I don’t feel that way at all. I am happy to be me. So, I was born with some abnormality. Lots of people are. For most of my early life I didn’t even know I wasn’t exactly normal. I got taken to doctors and my Dad wanted me to have surgery, but my Mum said no, so I got hormones instead which made no difference, as far as I know. No one knew about my secret except my Dad, Mum and the doctors. It all seemed sort of normal to me. I thought they were making a great fuss about something that didn’t matter and that I didn’t understand. This is the story of how I came to terms with who I am and how I had lots of fun on the way. Julie's books are available on Amazon.com, amazon.co.uk and other amazon outlets. Books are nice but you can also get them on Kindle. Read an Extract |
